It's not the fault of the women in Marks and Spencers that you're late for your meeting, it's your fault for deciding to go shopping before your meeting. Your priorities are obviously a little bit screwed and by the way you talk to people in the service sector, I don't think you're a very nice person.

[In our xc league we have separate men's and women's races, with the women going first. In the days when I did xc - but was slow and near the back - we had men warming up on the course and seemingly failing to spot that we were actually still racing and they were in our way. Used to drive me insane!]

Tsk, of course I don't flirt with the barman. He is definitely older than my au pair in any case.
And I haven't just spent the teabag money on over-the-knee boots either.
Living in Italy is a lesson in self-control and I am top of the class.

My Mum hasn't lost the plot so much that she's sent my birthday card over a month early.

My meeting room was not double booked and I have not had to scurry around finding a space for 40 people. The secretary of the group I'm hosting this meeting for has been very accepting and gracious about the last minute change of location (a five minute walk away), I'm not tempted to tell her to sling her snooty hook.

Dear Pizza Express,
However little I value Valentines Day, I do not wish to live in a world where people would choose to eat a pizza in an "express" manner as a nice romantic evening.
