The complaints when food stuff had to go to grams and kilograms was enough every road sign would need to chance for speeds and distances and you couldn't do that in bits but you also couldn't change every sign over night

On the whole, they'd done the major roads but not the little back roads I was doing most of the route on. I kept getting illusory shocks when I'd finally turn on to a main road to get to a town and the sign would suggest I had 60% further still to go than I'd expected.
