Imperial units are gibberish.
Get rid of them.
Old folk will just have to learn.

have you ever tried teaching an old dog new tricks?
FWIW I weigh myself in kg, but my children, brought up in Germany, use st & lbs.

While we're at it, let's get rid of those old fashioned words and phrases too, no more pounds of flesh or inching towards a goal, all those sayings should be taken out to the backyard and shot using a .22 rifle with a 40 grain bullet. Then we can all go for a pint and celebrate.
Or shall we just get rid of all the old folk? Most of them are not the full shilling, anyway.

Hate to break it to you, old bean. You're V40, so you're old. Inching towards eventual retirement...

Puts face in own hands. Does it matter. If someone uses kgs instead of lbs has anyone died because of that.
I prefer weighing in stones and lbs I run in miles unless it's a race in kms
