Really enjoyed this Kassandra video this morning

https://youtu.be/MkNw78_pqJw

A short 10min stretch session - using blocks - that she suggests is ‘intermediate, but beginners should be able to do’. I’d consider myself somewhere between beginner and intermediate..

Quiet on here :-)

Looking for advice/suggestions from anyone on here who has completed yoga teacher training. This is something I'd like to do starting in the second half of this year or early in 2023.

Just wondering if anyone has any experiences to share?
I am researching too (obviously) but would really appreciate input from actual people (Fetchies are all actual people, right?)

Garfield has definitely done yoga teacher training. I know someone who trains yoga teachers round here, he's very good and his teachers are all very good too. I can imagine there's all kinds of questions you'd want to ask before signing up samraoyoga.com

Thank you, Fleecy :-)

And yes, great call on Garfield
I shall await her wisdom :-)

I'm sure we have others, too...

I'm in the middle of my second teacher training at the moment, Bint. I'll fmail you separately later this week.

The people I did my training with went under during the pandemic unfortunately but have set up shop just outside Guildford earlier this year. You'll want to look around to find somewhere that resonates with you...I spent a while trying to find a place to do training, then got a bit sidetracked and injured but then an email popped up from the place I did my training.

I went to India for my training. Probably about a year in total, full time, if you add it all up. With the Sivananda organisation, with the Vivekananda Institute and yoga therapy in an ayurveda medical training school in Kerala and in London with the YBT.
The YBT training was 3 years part time, the training in India was a month, 3 months etc so I would go off there and immerse myself.
I still do retreats and training to keep myself "sharp" and am actually looking at one in Greece that combines yoga, tabla and chanting.
