What a delusional paranoid rant. The man is ill. I remain unconvinced by all the nuke sabre rattling. Ukraine is already hitting targets in Crimea (which Putin claims as part of Russia) and in Russia itself, specifically Belgorod. A tactical nuke in Ukraine would most likely blow back against his own troops and territory. As for a strategic nuke, the entire Russian ruling class have their spouses, kids, other family members, property investments, bank accounts etc in the West. His own daughters live in Germany. And even a partial mobilization is problematical. Those who are qualified and want to join the fight will have done so already. Can't see the rest being too keen. I agree. One of the [unclassified] discussion groups I am on includes several people with significant experience of nuclear strategy and they all say much the same thing. It doesn't change the fact that there are currently more nuclear warheads targetted for this neck of the woods that at any other point in history, but whether they would ever be released is another question entirely.

There was delusional ex Putin advisor on R4 this morning frothing at the mouth denying there is a war in Ukraine saying it's a liberation and that they West is using Ukrainian troops to attack Russia. But now with mobilisation is reserves Russian lives will start to be impacted at home, hopefully it'll turn the tide |
