New colorway Next% 2 in stock in all sizes.
Unfortunately excluded from discounts so first iteration still cheaper.

I bought some Next% 2 from Pro:Direct who had stock on size 10 and below. No discount though. Lucky my birthday is coming up!

HoD - chinese manufacturer from what I know , carbon plated shoe, it is firmer than the 4% and the sole looks a little more durable. They feel ok to run in and more stable than the 4%

18:38 down to 17:43 for journo testing shoes over a series of 5k time trials (ending on the normal shoes)

Only another N=1 sample but the result is not the biggest difference I’ve come across, for these sorts of times as a start point

anyone here running in the Saucony Endorphin line up? I'm interested but concerned about sole wear as I used to destroy the old Kinvara really quickly. They were a lovely shoe though so I'm tempted by a return to Saucony!

WW I bought a pair of the Saucony Endorphin Pro a month or so ago and have only had 4 runs in them so far. Initial thoughts:

- Not sure they're as comfortable as the Vaporflys - may improve with a few wears.
- Feel more like a normal trainer, definitely more stable than the Nikes.
- Feel better the faster you run in them, you really get the speed roll effect when you up the cadence and get the hips forward.

- Wear looks really good, it has hard wearing rubber exactly where I'd need it and I can't see any real wear after 30ish miles.

- My mare has the Endorphin Speeds and loves them and agrees they wear out a lot better (slower) than Nikes for him.

Windsor Wool, I have a pair of the Endorphin Pros. I agree with what Brunski says about them feeling better the faster you run in them (I can't comment on his other observations as I've never run in the Nikes).

I keep getting the very strong feeling, from occasional little test runs, that they will be very fast shoes, but I've only run once actual race in them, a 10K last Sunday. I was feeling so worn out, drained and badly slept beforehand (I've been really overworked the last 3 weeks) that I knew I had pretty well zero chance of achieving my sub-36 target. But I did just over 37, and really felt the shoes helped me sustain a reasonably high pace even though I was feeling like sh!t. I'm running a half marathon on Monday and I'll have a better feel after that.

thanks both, I think I'll give them a whirl perhaps starting with a pair of the Speed given that I've still got a pair of barely-used next% that I can use for racing.

It's nice to have some alternatives out there. Still enjoying my Hoka Rocket X but they are just so light I have a bit of inherent dis-trust in them!

and sorry to hear that you've been over-worked J2R. It's fair to say that I never really have that excuse (I'm a slacker!).

I was under the impression that Vaporfly etc are banned from all track races in the UK now (if event held under UKA rules, which would cover pretty much any officially timed event?):

uka.org.uk

But I've seen runners using them for track races, and the results appear on their po10.

If athletes are seen ignoring the rule, and nothing happens, I'd expect everyone else to soon follow.

Will be interesting to see how larger events like MK5000 handle it.
