I have to say that my experience today does tempt me a little more to get a pair of Endorphin Speeds for training purposes, to use for the really hard sessions which normally take it out of my legs. I do want to keep the Pros just for races.

The Endorphin Speed and the Asics Glideride V1 get very good reviews on YT from Seth James DeMoor. The latter were his go to long run shoe of choice

and another one: “ Conclusions The present study showed that top 20 and top 100 seasonal best times in 10 km, half-marathons, and marathons significantly decreased from 2017. Adoption of the advanced footwear technology has been identified as a factor contributing to these observed changes. The magnitude of this relative change was higher in female than in male elite athletes and was more pronounced in marathons than in 10 km road races. Although very relevant at an elite level, it appears that the magnitude of elite runners' race time changes observed between 2016 and 2019 is lower than race time changes reported in club or sub-elite distance runners.” frontiersin.org |

I should pay more attention at races to see if the super spikes are taking over. As they blend in more it's hard to see. I have seen the Dragonfly in training but the athlete that I saw them on was racing yesterday and I didn't even notice them. When I check the dragonfly, I don't see any mention of a carbon plate? Just seems to be pebax added although maybe they've shaped the full length spike plate in a similar way to the vaporfly? The Victory are have carbon plate and airbag from what I've read. |

Interesting that the spikes can't be removed. Launching mid may apparently and limited pairs (read that as boosting the market, lol). |

That mid May date might be US only as well reading the comments. Titanium spikes apparently as well.
