Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Years since I've read P&D (or had any sort of training plan :-/) but iirc it expects the earlier MP runs to be slower than intended pace. It works best when doing it by HR as then you are at marathon HR which is probably a better way than PMP, if only because PMP is an aspirational pace and may not be realistic.

After Thursday's 5k race, my legs are still a little tired so I was pleased today's scheduled run was a 4 miles recovery @9:30 pace, except I found it very difficult to go slow enough and even the resulting 9:03m was very easy. Hope that's a good sign.

Hey all, big apologies for having been massively slack with keeping up in here, contributing and keeping the header up-to-date. My mojo for anything running related (and Fetching) has gone totally downhill lately and as a consequence so has my performance. Hey ho, plenty of naval gazing around that one which I wil save for a blog sometime.

More importantly, hopefully I've captured things correctly for the header so far. Any more Autumn sub-3:30 attempts, please let me know and I will add them to the list. Sorry if I've forgotten / missed anybody.

Hi Clare, please add me for Frankfurt 30/10/16. If you're doing some more tidying, you might want to remove nayan as a "hopeful" (his pb is now 3:10)...

Hope the mojo returns soon... :)

Ljubljana for me Clare on Oct 30th. Not really thought about it yet as busy doing loads of shorter races. Trying not to put too much pressure on myself this time after blowing up somewhat at Manchester so not following a plan as such. Just hoping to get loads of PBs at shorter distances, chuck in a good few 20 milers and hope for the best - another mile 20 detonation on the cards then :-)

Hope you get back on it soon, but having a break is probably no bad thing

I won't be going for 3.30 this year as I'm building the mileage up and doing a couple of playful local marathons MK World Cup Marathon and Ouse Valley Way then having a crack at a decent Snowdon (sub 4 will do).

Next year Liverpool maybe my focus unless I get in London then it will be that.

Luckily a lot of my other times have come down so looking good

My sights are a little lower this year. I've got Chicago. Sub 3:40 will get me the starting pen that I want for Comrades, sub 3:38 should get me into New York.
