MP - if you take crowds out of the equation you beat 330. Glad you enjoyed it!
Looking at friends results, I reckon I'd have started off at 8mm pace and capitulated at fifteen miles.

BVRB - that's pretty much what happened to me, although I did make it until about 19miles before my capitulation! Chip Time 3:43:07, so still a PB by over 16 mins
Now, do I target 3:30 again at Manchester next week (I don't think so)

Does anyone know how Devoted2Distance got on? Only I'm pretty sure that it was her who I saw step off to the side of the road at about 16-17 miles. She would have been on sub-3.30 pace at that point, noting her 3.36 current PB.

sLickster we must have been pretty close at that time as I'm sure I passed her at that point walking and chewing on an orange segment. I had a comfort break a couple of miles latter so I assume she passed me then as I didn't notice her later.

D2D's name is on her profile, I guess you could look up her time on the VLM website.

well done all, so close mp and a great PB Nelly next time, it will be yours for both of you I am sure
yes, it was me in the fetch top with Clare on and yes I did it 3:29:29!!! Over the moon last few miles hurt like hell, but was determined not to allow it to slip away.. thanks for the support on here. will blog the race and splits etc tomorrow.
Think D2D ran 3:54 think she must have hit the wall. not sure if she follows this thread or not and / or will be in to tell the tale. hope she's ok.
