If you look at the Fetch marathon best times for age groups under 40 (23 ages), only two have been set since 2020 despite the new supershoes coming through. so, yes I think the Fetch demographic is getting older. |

Hopefully having a go at sub 3:15 again this year but not till later in the year. Achilles won’t be up to a spring marathon or marathon training

I was planning on running Valencia in December but getting childcare in place is going to be more difficult than expected so it's unlikely to happen. I'm running a half properly at the end of March, so if I can find a decent October marathon I could be tempted to give it a go. If not, I'll do Manchester in 2026.

I am running the Ghent marathon 30 March and aiming for sub 3:15. So please put me on the sidebar. I will follow the same routine running 4 times a week, lots of easy running and some MP running, very little core training and trying to hit 40 mpw as many weeks as possible. And I'd like to find out if my insanely light Adidas Pro Evo 1 last more than one marathon. |
