I ran 3:30:12 at Eryri having run a 81:19 HM 2 weeks before. Iโ€™d even tried some specific training!!

Letโ€™s face it. Hills are for walking in ๐Ÿ˜€.

At least you know what to expect @Forrest Jooligan !? I did it every year between 2007 and 2018. I picked up an injury in 2019 and cut back on the running during/after Covid. Had started to train for it at the start of the year (as would be 1st one as M55) but tore my ACL playing football! Have only just started running again

And you mate, how are you, besides the sore legs?

Unusually nervous. Way too early !
The legs feel a tad better, still not great.
The weather in Amsterdam will be perfect: 12 degrees and overcast.

I have yet to run sub 3:15 this year.
I was sick in Milan (3:27) and at the Great Breweries Marathon I was just cruising with a running friend (3:21).

Iโ€™m definitely in sub 3:15 shape (famous last words LOL).

Iโ€™ll try to get as close to 3 hours as possible.
