Is that what elsewhere does though Larkim. I'm trying to check what PO10 does and I can't see that they keep two or more sets going?
I don't think having different WAVA rankings for different performances is sustainable anywhere TBH. At best, you rank all performances against the different WAVAs.

Yeah, looks like I only have one 80% plus WAVA now
What a difference in the weather today. I was actually wishing I had gloves. I did see a difference in the HR though which was lower than it has been in the last few weeks of summer.

SPR - I suppose if you ran in 2014 at a Masters athletics event, you'd record the score against the tables on the day, and that would rest for time immemorial. WAVA isn't used formally for anything other than WMA events is it, it's just a convenient marker for the rest of us to keep an eye on.
If I'd sneaked 80.01 or 70.01 on a race because I'd specifically targetted that based on Fetch (or indeed, parkrun) calculations, I'd be a bit miffed now if that was 68.42% etc.

PO10 WAVA figures are calculated on the fly using the 2015 data apparently. I asked the guy that runs the site.

I thought they would be. I presume they were on the old scores at some point though?

He only changed the handicaps from 2006 data 2 months ago. He had a few complaints but it’s quiet now. I think it’s the social nature of fetch with people setting WAVA scores as targets that makes it harder to swallow here.

Ah - that explains why my fake parkrun recorded as 79.9% despite being faster then my last real parkrun which was 11 seconds slower but was over 80%.

Yeah think you're right CW. I thought I was at 79 odd on PO10 so that makes sense as a recent change.
I think the suggestion of keeping a permanent record of what the WAVA was at the time and a current always up to date makes sense.
Not a fan of keeping old incorrect scores cos things weren't updated. Although with standards being a thing on here I can see how changing things feels odd.

Made little difference to me, except my 73 PB is back down to the 72s. I think it's also changed which is my highest WAVA now from one last year to one in 2015.

I think my 5k have gone up a little with 10k down a little (I cant remember what it was so that may be rubbish)
My best is now a 5k at 77.6% when I am pretty sure that a 10K that I done around the same time was always my highest.
