Riggsy, I have full respect if you are training around shifts. Nights used to kill me. I once tried to play football the evening after a week of nights. The one and only time I have ever given up. I walked off at half time and spent almost the whole of the second half in the shower.

Oscar I work 4 or 5 nights a week and try and arrange my training around this but it’s doable and this time of year at least I get more chance of a daylight run

Last I looked Rother valley was closed as the river Rother has been allowed to flood into it (is part of the flood plan). Hopefully damage will be limited and the race can go ahead

Stoo - you don’t have to go to London if you want someone to tell you you are crap. Happy to oblige if that’s what you’re in to 🤪!

Was just admiring your photos on strava actually. What’s the challenge you’re getting ready for? Looks amazing, I really can’t wait to be able to spend more time in the Lakes. But what are you doing down here in England? What’s up with the Scottish peaks?!
