Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well the best of luck (not that I'm implying you need it after all your hard work in training) to:
BRubble MatttheRat Ally2 RobiGobi KinkyS mxhornet

and anyone else who is racing this weekend. No racing for me but a LSR of 16 miles or 2:20 on Sunday.

Enjoy!!

Thanks Woffy, hopefully the Bristol 1/2 starting farce won't slow me down.

Good luck with the races everyone. I've run an easy 6 miles this morning ahead of tomorrow's 12 miles. Next week is a big one.

Just did 32K (19.9M) in 3:03. I think I'm doing my LSRs much slower than you guys.

10k race done and dusted today in 38:17, which is a PB by almost a minute, and the first race I've done that the McMillan calculator forecasts a sub-3 marathon from. Started a bit quick, but then settled into a really steady pace. What made a difference today was having quite a few other runners at about my pace to run with. Let's hope for the same next weekend!

KB nuttin' wrong with those LSR times, good running and not taking too much out of the legs. MtR excellent 10k time so looking good. good running over the weekend, well done to all
My weekend was a complete wipe out in terms of mileage, was getting ready to do a 2:20 run (about 16 miles) on Saturday night when my OH persuaded me that we should be doing something with the kids so ended up taking them to the beach. Didn't get back out then, what made it worse is that she asked later why I hadn't done what she suggested which was to bring my running gear and go from the beach - kicking myself then cos I hadn't even heard the suggestion.
Too many things happening then Sunday with bundles of people around at the house so a re-scheduled 16 miler for tonight all going well.
