After the latest bollocks from Boris it looks like everything's cancelled until at least June. I've already had the council emailing me telling me that I can't plan to restart the parkrun "before the autumn" ... I hadn't even asked them :(. I suppose that at a certain point someone might consider that nobody has caught anything exercising outside.

I will miss old people holding there heads like they are playing hide and seek with a small child as I run passed. Or the,` you should wear a mask as I run by.` The glares, the disapproval in a funny kind of way. Spread the love, ah Jock? |

When I come across this behaviour (which is quite often), I'm always tempted to say "You know that the biggest factor in the spread of Covid is? Stupidity!". But I never do. (Just to be clear, I really go out of my way to make things easy for walkers, etc., giving them a very wide berth, stopping when necessary, making a point of thanking them, but I presume there must be some kind of anti-runner hate being whipped up on social media and in the tabloids).

"Someone jogging, walking their dog or working out in the park is highly likely to have Covid 19" - UK govt advert, Jan 2021 Ad was pulled due to complaints, but no apology/retraction that I am aware of. |

These things, where people get a chance to blame others for problems, always take off quickly.
