Well done Chris!

Thank you! It's been such a big goal of mine. Also only slightly surprised at how few women were running (about 25% female participants). Still, I can't fault the day

Nicely paced!

by the skin of my teeth! i thought i'd have a smidge more wiggle room but my GPS started to drift further and further out of sync with the km markers. I was almost bang on at the start for the first 7km. The roads are so wide, I think it's fairly easy to run a bit extra. Also GPS and buildings...not to be trusted!

Rother valley half this Sunday (5/11). Not trained specifically for the half but for marathon on 26/11. Targets

A) PB 1:26.37 (March 2020) (6:37/mile)
B) Season Best 1:29.36 (April 2023) (6:50/mile)
C) WAVA PB 74.37% equivalent time 1:29.42 (March 2020) (6:51/mile)

Thanks I think the A target is probably out of reach but somewhere between A and B is more realistic
