I chose "Let it Be" for my mother's funeral. She was a nurse in Liverpool during the Beatles' era and was a big fan. She was also a very pragmatic, straight-talking person.

That's excellent news, @Runningbauble21 About the retirement date, not about the Bay City Rollers, of whom I wasn't a fan despite being in the right place at the right time.

Iād just like to note ā¦. Since I finished I've not missed working, been bored or stressed! There have been āI should do somethingā moments and several times Iām noticing myself smiling for no reason! My only struggle is accepting there is no monthly cheque which has made me watch money more but only in a good way. I notice how I used to occasionally spend on things that tbh I didnāt really need. ATM I have no desire to un-retire. |
