@TROSaracen congrats on the new house, hope it goes through smoothly. We recently bought our downsize house but won't be ready for it for at least a year. Planning to rent it in the meantime.

Congratulations TRO, hope all goes well with the purchase. Currently staying with a relative who retired this year at 60 and is having a very full first year of retirement and loving it much more than he expected to. He's also an Ironman and off to Hawaii so may well see TRO there. |

Congrats TRO - talking of congratulations and going back a page or 2. Depending on which site you use for reference, Number 1 when I was born was either 'Congratulations' by Cliff Richard or 'What a Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong. Freaks me out a little as 'What a wonderful world' is my funeral song. Hope it's that one, kind of goes full circle that way and 'Congratulations' would be sooooooooo inappropriate |

Oooh funeral songs that's an interesting subject. Do you choose songs you love or ones that won't make you friends and family too tearful?

My funeral, my tunes! 😉 One that I’ve chosen would be a tear jerker at the best (or worst) of times, but Abide With Me by the Inspirational Choir is pretty full on with gospel singers, an electric guitar break and full orchestra. The silence at the end is deafening. |
