Touchdown!! After a fraught few days, ending with sealed bids, house in Devon secured and expecting to move in Jan 2025. In Dartmoor NP so infinite space to run/cycle/walk, an and enjoy surrounding. Also won’t get concreted over in the house building frenzy that’s about to start. Full retirement brings geographic freedom so brilliant to make the most of it. |

I was 53 years with the same company. Well I say the same, it changed hands a few times over the years. I worked my way up from apprentice to manager.

My retirement from work wasn't entirely conventional. I just resigned, giving notice, and at the same time applied for retirement. My work pension started to be paid when I left. Very nice. That was good service! |
