Glad you got it sorted V'rap. It can be a bitch at times. Well, I've got three of my pensions sorted and have the 25% tax free portion squirreled away Just one that is being worked on at the moment and the one I am in with work. With holidays etc taken into account, I have 91 working days left..... |

I thought you were talking about the GMC, @Roobarb And was going to say, hey now, they're not that bad, they've struck off some high profile doctors that deserved striking off in the last few years.

Thanks, GM I'm not fully free till I've completed the form I'm going to be sent, but apparently I no longer have to pay £10 for the privilege of being removed from the Medical Register. I wonder if I'll still need to find a random doctor to confirm that I'm not a bad person.

I've just requalified to be able to recertify myself as a 'Project Management Professional' for another 3 years. All I have to do now is pay $150 for the privilege. |

Having let my DBS check lapse, I have the perfect excuse to never set foot in a school as a worker or volunteer ever again.

I did keep my DBS up to date to start with. I had thoughts of doing some voluntary coaching but EA made things so difficult I decided not to bother. Other than volunteering at parkrun I won't be considering any other voluntary roles now.
