I know I don't have to worry about work it is totally their problem, I was quite shocked that my initial response was that its their problem not mine

I don't think I will be ready to go in April so not overly concerned & by time S pulls out they'll know my intentions its up to them to look at resourcing sooner than later which I suspect when S tells them she's going they will.

My notice plans depend on who my boss is and how I feel about them.

I am amazed no one has thought to even enquire about my plans. Our hr system doesn’t show year of birth but they know I have 38 years service and some simple maths should indicate a rough age.

And we had lovely weather in Tenerife (Costa Adeje) mid January a few years back.

Not December though, sorry.
