my plan is as vague as a vague thing exercise read cook garden repeat as long as possible
when we move to forever home (1 move left in us as we hate it!) I will be wanting pretty runs and either a big enough garage or outdoor unit that allows me to make my own gym
if I was lucky enough to be in a money no issue position I would possibly train as a yoga teacher but purely for my own interest
I think I would like to do something still every now and then just to keep in touch with people which the swimming idea would do
Plus doing more races to see fetchies if money wasn't an issue - less so whilst sticking to a budget
Although visiting different parts of the UK would be nice we are cat restricted! Once they go we will get a dog (Ozzy would hate a dog) and they are easier to take on holiday than cats!

I get a cat sitter Pix, I am also glad I have a cat, as I could not have looked after a dog these last 8 months!

I have decided money is not an issue. With my reduced life expectancy, I intend to do what I can when I can...
Then I can sit and effectuate plan move to Italy. I will liberate a LOT of surplus out of my modest home! Enough to employ gardener and housekeeper/cook

It's been quite interesting watching my father, in sole charge of his household finances for the first time in his life, getting his head round the idea that money is not an issue and there is no need to "just have a coffee" in a café that's more expensive than his usual haunts.

Nice Vrap! My mum always believed she was about to loose everything and refused to spend any money or enjoy herself. Both my sister and I, the grateful recipients of ample savings, feel so bad about this. But you cannot force someone into something they do not want to do!

my dad used to jest he was spending my inheritance whereas my mother now seems to keep mentioning the value of the house "when it needs to be sold" as if she is not spending because she wants us to inherit
she keeps saying she should do XYZ but doesn't I wish she would spend as unless I am very much mistaken the tax man will be very happy when she goes so if she spends it less goes to him! Although I have noticed that she has been very generous of birthday's

My in laws always talk about leaving my wife & her brother their cash, tbh, unless it’s while we can use it, it’s pointless. We are financially ok anyway. But what’s the point in getting more cash when yer hitting 70 possibly, too late for a lot of things imho.
