I think there will be less tolerance of people turning up to work, travelling being in public with coughs and colds

No more unnecessary meetings? We have proved meetings can happen fine over Skype/zoom etc...

I think buzz cuts will become a thing, I know a few people who've done it for a laugh, and actually really like it!

I think there’ll be a counter surge of high maintenance ‘fancy’ hair styles

In the short-term at least, schools will become a mix of online learning, live teaching and childcare. Learning will be more individual and personalised to cover the wide spread of learning that has arisen/been exposed.

More zoom/skype things.

For me personally, going shopping less frequently. I’ve gone from popping to the shops practically daily to big shop fortnightly and very occasional visit to local for milk/bread. I’m also wasting less food.

I was brought up by my mum who grew up with rationing. Food was sacred. I’ve never been wasteful with food but I’m even more so now. I’m taking delight in using stuff up ( mostly for making cakes tbh ;-) ) but joking apart that’s not going to change any time soon

Same with shopping. For decades I’ve been to the shop most days and spent £5 to £10 say. That’s not going to happen again I don’t think

Business travel will plummet. Face to face meetings will always be better than virtual, but the ease and cost benefits of Teams, Zoom, etc will cut down business trips significantly.

There are efficiency gains to be had too. Instead of spending half the day traveling between clients you could see twice as many clients by having the meetings online.
