Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Do most people prefer/think it's better to do daily short sessions (10 - 30 mins) or e.g. 2 x per week x 60 mins or more? The reason why I prefer the latter is that I find combining running and core difficult. Prefer to do my core on a non-running day. :-)G

I find it easier to do several short (10 mins) sessions a few times a week - it's less daunting than planning a full 60 mins or so. I would say that either route is fine, but the most important thing is to work out which best suits your life/training and do that :-)

I prefer shorter sessions, but am contemplating going to the gym tonight to do their 60min session.

I have however just eaten 2 slices of corned beef, a cheese scone with LOADS of butter and 2 choc biscuits! Ooops! :-o

I tried and failed to get into my yoga class today so tried to book in for next week while I was at it and at 9am this morning it was already full for next Friday lunchtime's class and there was ELEVEN people already on the waiting list ffs!!
I managed to book into the 7am longer yoga session next Friday morning instead and am going to bodypump at 6.30pm tonight as well as making sure I somehow get booked in for it next week too.

I would say turn up anyway, AW. I found with our Pilates classes that they're fully booked, but if I just ask teacher on the day she says I can squeeze in. And some bookers don't turn up. :-)G

I did a small amount of core as part of my weights session tonight but it was mostly upper body work. I don't usually do anything on a Friday other than eat pizza but I didn't run last night so I was feeling guilty.
