Cheers Teebs. I like the pigeon; it feels like it's doing some good to my old injury. The other exercises are v much like some of the yoga I do with various teachers.

Day 11 done.
Was so tough I think I ought to repeat it a few times before moving on to Day 12.

Grrr - the curse of 2016.
I've got to have minor surgery next Monday, following a biopsy. I won't be able to take part in the challenge for about 2-3 weeks.
I'll start all over again with it once I've recovered.

Day 12 still not done...
RSq, I hope the surgery goes ok and biopsy reveals nothing untoward. If I don't get going again in the next day or two, maybe I'll restart with you in the new year.

Thanks folks, I've had the biopsy already. Hopefully just routine; it's quite a common procedure. Still, not had anything done since I was a v young kid and had a mole removed from the base of a toe.
It just seems like 2016 has been an awful year for people generally. I knew I wasn't going to get away with not having issues. Only last month I was talking with friends and saying the year's not over yet. One of the friends had lost her mum unexpectedly, the other a sister in law unexpectedly and members of my family and friends have/are experiencing serious illness, injury, loss etc. What is it with 2016?
I'll keep going with planks and exercises; the surgery's next Monday then I have to do no swimming or exerting myself for 4 weeks apparently.
Someone at work is having an op today and when it's over he won't be able to eat for 2 weeks! He's had his Christmas meal already.

That was a badly timed op.

Got a training plan for London Marathon that includes core work and strengthening in general and running 4 days a week. Managed to fit in a little core session at work just before a slightly sweaty lunch. Good job the heating wasn't on in the cafe!
