I haven't looked at plankathon, but I'm a bit sceptical about long planking. My core is reasonably good (imho!) but I would normally only do 1 min plank, plus leg raises, plus 1 min side plank (x each side = 2) with leg raises and or twists. Plus sit ups too usually. But the point is, I don't do 10 min plank!
We had a competition at our gym and one guy did 9 mins or something. And (forgive me) but he's a bit of a lard bucket (doesn't mean he doesn't have strong core of course, but, I wouldn't think he's that much better). Anyhoo... plank on peeps! G

Is only 5 minutes a day for 14 days HG with days 1, 8 and 14 tests to see how long, up to 5 minutes, you can hold a plank and the other days different combinations of core based exercises. I found it enjoyable

I'm *trying* to carry on planking after the plankathon. I managed a 60sec normal plank, 20 press ups and 30secs plank on each side. It would be good to get a little quick routine that I could do every day, but it's knowing what I can manage that will make a difference

the plankathon includes variations like side planks, knee drivers and other fun stuff, so it's not just long time planking but contains also dynamic stuff. Day 4 done, the knee drivers are mean!
