I have popped some in an egg box as per HellsBells and a few more in little pots, they will have to go in the garden at end of the month and take their chances.

My seeds are in, a specially formulated compost, bigger pots, better seeds, sunny up North (currently), better plant food, brand new propagation system! Brand new everything.

This year is gonna be mine ;-)

The Roolz

1. Begins when you can

3. Biggest one wins

4. Disasters are to be posted so we can all laugh/commiserate/laugh at them

5. All forms of growing aids are allowed. There's no drug testing in this competition so if you find the Lance Armstrong of Sunflowers - grow it and win !

7. As the national flower of Ukraine is the Sunflower, the Russian Giant variety is banned.
