Now is the time to be buying seeds, stuffing them with Steroids and buying soil/pots etc

You could plant them in the gutters round here in the summer, we had lots of verbena bonariensis and buddleia growing well with the council doing nothing about it.

That sounds like fun...random sunflowers cropping up unexpectedly!! I need to find my seeds from last year. Hubby enjoyed my growing sunflowers last year...we may be planting some into the ground this year!

I have six varieties of sunflowers and am not buying any more! I'll take my chances with the seeds I have.
Quite partial to a bit of guerilla gardening.
