:-) Last Year it all kicked off on March 31st.

Now is the time to be buying seeds, stuffing them with Steroids and buying soil/pots etc

We need a 2019 thread too !

You could plant them in the gutters round here in the summer, we had lots of verbena bonariensis and buddleia growing well with the council doing nothing about it. :)

That sounds like fun...random sunflowers cropping up unexpectedly!! I need to find my seeds from last year. Hubby enjoyed my growing sunflowers last year...we may be planting some into the ground this year! :)

I have six varieties of sunflowers and am not buying any more! I'll take my chances with the seeds I have.

Quite partial to a bit of guerilla gardening.

7. As the national flower of Ukraine is the Sunflower, the Russian Giant variety is banned.
