Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This one is a bit of a late starter! It self seeded, probably from a seed in the bird feeder above 🙂

Ours are really bedraggled now, the Dill girl won with 8’3 but Mrs Dill has launched an appeal because hers has a droopy head, and if stretched out, would have been a winner

Fence is 6' sunflower is in the ground not potted, if it wasn't for the curved spine it would have been taller.

My tallest got to nearly eight feet - but it deserves an award for perseverance!

Flowerhead got nibbled off before it had reached full height so it carried on regardless from a side stalk which had sprouted from a leaf joint.

That also got damaged (squirrels I suspect) but another stem from a leaf joint on that one took over.

And it's still flowering.

First cold morning. The sunflower seeds from GrowOff 2018 are going down well with the birds in the garden.
