Quimby, you are about 100m short of the TC statue. You are outside the NW bank so you need to go down the slope to the next corner (to the left) and the statue is in front of you on the RHD side of the road immediately to the right of the large green leaved tree. It's on a plinth at the top of a short set of steps.

Stopped off at the lake last night and contemplated swimming across to short cut the route then I remembered that I swim like a brick.
Anyhow, rather than cheat i took Nala πΎ with me this morning (she hates water). Unfortunately she also decided to end her walk very early so we are stuck half a mile down the road!! Now outside number 62 (from 92 π)
Time for work, and a long day. Hopefully tomorrow will see me move further!!!

I finally managed to sneak past Darwin yesterday, but have now been struck down with crippling plantar fasciitis (bad enough that even standing still is painful), so he's overtaken me again and I suspect that will be the last I see of him.

Very pretty little country lane to trot down.
A mile or so outside Pontypool. At least I've heard of Pontypool, which is more than can be said for my spellchecker!
