I'm provaricating about joining in.
My first reaction was a flat no because my running miles won't get me anywhere near and I'm not doing big walks with the dogs anymore. But doing some sums, even with a 2 week delayed starts I *could* theoretically get close.
I could definitely do it if I could ride the horse some of the way. But that would definitely be cheating even though he is from Wales.

Nothing lost if you join in - it's not like it costs anything and you get entries into the prize draw everytime you pass a checkpoint. Surely it would be rude not to?

lovely little lane, but I hope I don't meet a car or I might have to climb over it!

As long as I don't end up putting too much pressure on myself... it's good encouragement to cover some walking miles as well.

Surprised to cover 3 miles at jumps training this morning. That's a lotta drills and runway, eh boss?

Sorry - stupid question here. Have just joined the Castle Challenge. How do I log the runs/walks for the challenge?

Not a stupid question - every virtual challenge is different it seems. In this case, the challenge picks them up directly from your training log so (assuming that's where you record your activity) you don't need to do anything

@run free - welcome! Any training activity logged on this site as Running (any category) or Walking or Hiking or Nordic Walking will automatically update your distance covered along the route and your location.
@RooA - go for it! Even if you just carry on doing your thing and visit the Challenge page just to see where you have reached (no advance planning, no calculations, no pressure), I bet you'll have one or two days where you end up somewhere interesting and you think "oh, that's interesting!".
