I’m totally comfortable on red type techy stuff but not black. Happy to walk anything that is scary technical if the overall route is mostly within my comfort zone. Time-wise when I wake up and am ready. Not thought about a time as it’s just me

Sounds good @halfpint I asked about timing as I was considering gatecrashing your ride Personally I wouldn’t recommend the Beast - that’s more black than red. There are nicer descents around the Ladybower area, or there’s also the ride Steppie and I did a couple of weeks ago, which takes in Castleton and the broken road / Mam Tor. Can you use gpx files? |

Yes gpx files would be excellent. You’re welcome to join me but I’m not a proper rider like you and not my fittest so probably a bit slow for you. I’ve been watching a video and it mostly looks like stuff I’d ride up my way. One of the descents looked a bit interesting though - I guess the beast. |

Realised that sounds like I’m putting you off. Company would actually be lovely. I do tend to be under confident about my abilities but I think you are probably significantly fitter and more able than me.
