That looks great. I've cycled part of the great glen before, but I couldn't see where I was going the rain was so heavy, so about turned and headed back.

I was at Fochabers at the weekend. What a cracking setup they have there. There's a pump track, 3 short but well built down hill single tracks (Blue, Orange and Red) as well as red and blue longer cross country tracks.

We headed there on Friday night and took advantage of the forestry commission's stay the night scheme, did some cycling in the afternoon followed by a BBQ and a couple of drinks. Spent the night in the camper van, then hit the trails in the morning followed by a lunchtime BBQ with the leftover food in the fridge.

I like the monster trails Ronnie although I've only done the blue there up to now. Must get over the other side and do the other stuff.

The 'Glorious Gravel' Lake District Gravel Epic which goes from Coniston, Cath.

I don't have a gravel bike - I'll be using my Stealth Bomber..... with slightly less knobbly tyres ;-)

Soooooooooo tempted… although it’s a bit of a trek for the day and my usual campsite is full.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a medium length, easy-medium difficulty cross country ride in Scotland (preferably north east)? So far I've just been to trail centres and wouldn't know where to start planning something longer.

Since the last appearance of Kaph, some time ago... there are now three wheel sizes, and now new plus (+) tyres for the even more adventurous!

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
