By the time I'd cooked up a bit of food and warmed up a bit myself, it had snowed here too, quimbs. It's doing a bit now again too. Maybe I'll get to see what the xdrive is like tomorrow...

Not a lot here and we're higher up than you. Looks fairly icy out judging by the mincing pedestrians are engaging in.

I've got to be honest, I'm not sure I fancy the mud bath that will be the Chase today... the snow overnight was very wet and turned to rain earlier. I had to wash the bike in the freezing cold after Thursday night's ride and strip at the front door. Not sure I fancy that again so soon...

I'm heading out on the crosser because the road bike is in bits. Could be interesting...

Took the mtb along the tow path to parkrun. Way too much bike for the terrain but was thankful as where the ruts had frozen the suspension was nice. :-)

Well, wk 2 of the MTB Skilz Skool was going swimmingly as I managed picking my front wheel up over a little log and then picking my front wheel up over a bigger log with relative ease. Then a bit of a rooty decent that didn't throw me off, then a whizz around the Haldon blue (a route I know pretty well) and then back to the skilz area.. where it all collapsed. Completely failed to lift my back wheel off the ground in preparation for next weeks' bunny-hop lesson. Am off to practice on the towpath, in the dark!

I am going to try and learn to manual / wheelie properly this year. You've done it already, so bloody well done!

Have been mentioning that for a number of years, Cath.... It's an immensely useful skill, and well worth practising.

Bunny hops are a beast of their own. Crack on, Megster :-)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
