Dogs have incredibly clean mouths... or was that one of those myths
I've actually watched someone in a restaurant feed their dog with their fork before carrying on eating using same fork

Dogs have incredibly dirty mouths.... That's why dog bites are at such high risk of infection

Human mouths and bites also carry a high risk of infection

I suppose we do share more oral fauna with other humans than we do with dogs, so I guess we're less likely to catch infections from dogs than from other humans via the dishwasher.
But having seen dogs eating their own and other dogs' faeces, carrion, in fact, anything laying around..... No thanks. I've never watched a human eat quite so much disgusting stuff.

Thank you all for the dishwasher brand comments, and especially to icemaiden for the helpful comments
I'm pondering starting a thread or blog post about fridges, hobs and ovens... And flooring and all the other house building decisions we're going to need to make!

I know about fridges, ovens and hobs too, but nothing of flooring.
