Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yesterdays Fast was tough but not impossible. The quiet day in work didn't help. Stuck to the same as Friday - Lighter Choices sandwiches for lunch(300 Cals) and a low calorie soup for me tea (236 cals).

The thing I've found is that after a Fast Day I'm not hungry. I expected to wake up ravenous but I'm no more hungry than on normal days.

Struggling with the black tea on Fast Days - never thought I'd ever hear myself say this but I may have to investigate flavoured teas :-o

Still reading the book - but need to make sure I keep up my calories on the days before/after fasting as the weight loss for me is unwanted. Possible first fast day for friday as it is the only day this week that I would be able to devote to ME!

I guess unless you have a load of full fat milk in your tea, its not going to add up to a huge amount though is it? Yes you need to count it but its not going to be a bank breaker...

There are 46 calories in 100ml of semi skimmed. I measured and that's how much milk i have in a single cup (yes, I know that's probably nasty tea for purists!). I usually drink 6 cups of tea a day. That's a big whack of calories out of a daily 500.

Also, the book goes on about extending the length of time you take in no calories for for as long asp ossiblte.

The calories look about right. I'm more puzzled that you drink tea that's 50% milk. Or maybe it's in a bucket. ;-)
