I actually had much less trouble than usual with the pace groups - none (I saw a few) of the 3.05 - 3.10 pacers had many people with them at all so they were easy to ignore.

Hope you're recovering well johnnywoo.

Yes it was definitely you I saw Nico - well done!

I throughly enjoyed my volunteering stint at the water station, manic but fun. Even if it did require a 4:30am alarm. :)

I dropped off the red start 5:45 pacer at about 14 miles. According to my watch he was running sub 12 minute miles, a minute quicker than planned.

Picked up the redstart 6:15 pacers at about 22 miles. They had one runner between them, and she fell away. When I got moving again I ran away from them. They looked at a bit of a loss with nobody to lead.

Photos are up. I may not have my best time but I've got my favourite London running photo now, flying over Tower Bridge :-)

sportograf.com

Search by selfie only (annoying) but works pretty well as far as I can tell.

Found it thanks. Don't like the tech but boy does it find a lot of photos though it takes a bit of spotting yourself in some of them. My favourite ones are of me and the lovely volunteer holding me up after the finish.

Kind of expect congestion around pacers, not too much trouble where I was. However:

What looked like 9 people tethered together all running within a frame contraption. Possibly for charidee, but still... please!

Spectators launching themselves to cross the course, perpendicular to the runners. One of these days such a miscreant will be taken out by a forearm smash and I will not be sorry.
