Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi everyone. I sent my essay for feedback on the 5th and I haven't heard anything yet. I know we've just had a bank holiday and there are probably a lot of people at this stage wanting feedback too. I don't want to annoy her by chasing it too soon either. When do you think is a reasonable time to do so? I only have two weeks left to submit so I'm getting a bit twitchy

Five working days would seem reasonable to me, which would make it tomorrow.

I think another day or two would be reasonable EB, and still give you time to do what you need to do before submission.

Is there anything else you could be doing in the mean time to maybe help take your mind off the wait?

I agree with G-g, but bear in mind that we are all running around even more than usual at the moment, so word your chase carefully :)

Yeah another day or so was kinda my thinking too just really didn't want to wait until the end of the week. My next shift is Friday so selfishly I was hoping to have a few days to work on it before going back.
I can do my now what and conclusion while waiting. I have some guidance on how to structure my now what as almost an 'action plan' on my reflection but it has to be specific if possible and doesn't have to negative it can be positive. Things I want to take forward for future coaching.Nothing vague like wanting to increase my confidence.

Linds I always try to be careful with my words especially around this time I know there's untold pressure on everyone. She's had to restructure so many of our lectures as well as other groups. I think we all just need to remember to be kind which isn't always easy with the stress we are all under.

I was probably going to go with something along the lines of how much I appreciate her agreeing to give me some feedback as I'm sure her workload is greatly increased at this time etc... any further advice on wording is welcome 😊

I know you would, EB, but not everyone does, although I have to say that 99% of our students have been very kind.

I would also mention your shift pattern as that is definitely a consideration.

Agree with LindsD. I'd also make sure to attach whatever you want feedback on again, so she doesn't have to go searching for it.
