Is there a thread for people studying? I know some of us are.
I'm in the 2nd year of my PhD and struggling to do anything useful around the other crap I seem to have to do. Anyone want to join me for general moans and support (and celebrating good stuff, too)?

Can I join? I'm a 'mature' student as well as full time worker bee and mum of 3. And I think I'm the only single mum that goes to St. Andrews uni!! Well done with the PhD. I'm decades away from that level. 😀

What a great idea for a thread
I am in the final year of my PhD. At the moment I feel like I am never going to complete my thesis.
My motivation is zero, I've had enough of reading and writing about the historical setting of compensation flows.
I am unable to concentrate on my work for more than 10 minutes.
I feel like quitting at the moment

Oh FS, I know how you feel. Hang around and we can support each other.

Thanks LindsD.
From reading other forums it seems to be a common problem.

Yes. I went to see a support person at my uni (UCL) who said that, too.
I just have so much else to do and am *whispers* actually not that interested in the topic of my PhD. I just want to get it so I can move onto the next stage.
