im waiting to hear. if there is a u turn and we could have the first choice, wouldb we be able to take it or now we have accepted 2nd choice is that it?

GCSEs will almost certainly be based on teacher assessments now - that's what the row/announcement later is about and why it has to happen now. So hopefully that's slightly less worrying.

news just announced A-level and GCSE students will be awarded the grades predicted for them by their teachers, the Welsh Government has announced. |

I'm adding supporting somethings for DocM and anyone else who needs them. That's interesting, Katie. I guess they saw the Scottish gvmt do a U turn and saw that it was likely.

I really hope the latest announcement helps some of your teens. Dread to think what is going to happen now for those that didn’t get their first choice but now have the grades. DocM sending tons of support to you as your nightmare continues. On the plus side you know what Thursday’s results will be. Not sure that’s a good thing but hopefully it is. |
