Lyrics no Been a bit AWOL, busy learning socialising eating and ceilidhing until yesterday at conference. Yesterday did parkrun on Bressay which was windy and was trying to catch one of my Shetland colleagues who is over 5 foot tall, did so by a whisker but not a fast time. Nice set up there including everyone walks up from ferry to start together past a little old lady who sits at her window and waves to everyone, then a tough run due to 2m into the wind and 2 with it behind you, then almost compulsory coffee and cake in the community cafe where the wall is covered in UK and world map, you have to put a pin in your place of origin. Dustin would like the cakes! Met. Friend from Orkney who moved here for lunch in town and then a short walk around sound headland and aore chilled evening. Today have had a stunning walk around the Hams of Roe on Muckle Roe Sure P will have some pics and just having tea and pancakes afterwards! Hazel good racing, shame about the few secs! Still don't know if will get home tomorrow, 5th on car standby list. Could be stranded worse places!! |

Hi all Lyrics yes, Just back from holiday, well a short break in wales, and the fastest that RFJ has been for years, 100mph wind assisted, at Zip World. So much fun, below is a pick of me before getting kitted out... great present from the kids and wife as part of my bucket list, the team there were so helpful too looking after me.
