Yes, the data showed that most people do indeed miss a week at some point.

Maybe Fetch could work up something similar, but different? Say, taking five day gaps*, and working out the effect of single or multiple five day gaps. And again for ten day gaps. Plus something against different weekly distances. *Five days, as some plans might only have three runs a week (usually ones substituting cross-training) so would have minimum three day gaps, and possibly four. |

Would also be interesting to understand the effect of blips which reduce training volume but don't take you completely out. (Selfishly interested in this as I caught shingles in the last month of my marathon build and don't know what if any effect it might have had!) Would need to avoid catching deliberate cutbacks and the taper but say a reduction by 25-30% volume is probably more than most people would deliberately do for a cutback, and could just eliminate the last 3 weeks from the analysis. |

Did my longest run since the Blackpool marathon last year on Sunday past, 16.8 miles in 2:35 so reasonably happy with that.

Minimag
I have done a few long runs, I was going to follow a training program, but the program would have taken me backwards for the first few weeks, so I did my own thing until the program caught up, which it has this week. So I'll follow the program going forward, next week calls for 15 miles, with 12 at marathon pace |

That is not an easy session Minimag! I have done a couple of 20s already but I am visiting my daughter next week in Florida and not sure how far I will get to run in the next three weeks. Has anyone ever used the tanda calculator? I have never heard of it before. |
