Oh and I think the prize is a cheque - I didn't stick around for the prize giving as didn't expect for a minute to win anything! They have said they will post it to me!

Going backwards. 45:19 at Bourn to Run this morning, a minute slower than last year. Slightly fed up. Still, nice pressure-free half next weekend before I launch myself on the Fenland 10 towards the end of next month.

Hi all. Just discovered this thread by accident as didn't realise sub 42 so such a popular target!!
Aiming to get under the 42 mark at After Adoption 10K on 17th November so can you add me to the header please?
Got a current PB of 42.46 set early this year but been in good form this season so reckon I can bring it down a bit. Did this race last year - its 3 laps round Regents park. Flat course but the laps mean lots of overtaking to be done and some quite sharp corners. Was quite sloppy last year with the leaves so hopefully a touch drier this year.
Any suggestions to help me sharpen up in the last few weeks?
Baz
