Thanks Chris. Not what I used to run but more than I've been able to for a fair while. I would love better weather! Hopefully keeping it steady and on the flat will allow you to maintain fitness whilst your hamstring heals. jda - muddy and therefore slippery underfoot is definitely another thing that aggravates my knees. |

Chris I had one start closer (Sale Water Park, Trail Marathon) jogged there and back, carried bottle of wine home for 3rd place iirc. Mcr will be just over 5km to the start so too far as a warm up jog I think. My allotment is closer but out of bounds to cars due to the road closures so hoping I can still cycle there, stash the bike & use the on site loo then walk/jog to the start. |

Right knee was very swollen when I went to bed last night. I hadn't even realised until I saw it though it had been vaguely uncomfortable at work. Swelling has reduced this morning and it's a rest day anyway so hoping it will be ok for tomorrow. I need my physio to return to work.

18.15 ish 5k tt this morning. FE predictor reckons 2.52 mara which is optimistic I think 🤔

All depends on how well you convert I guess rhb. I think I've found the limit for my knees at around seventy miles a week. Both are now niggling and swelling but fortunately still tolerating running. |

Glad you’re still rolling forwards LMH. I’ve had an enforced stop week following a stomach bug. Should be able to get the long run done tomorrow, but otherwise just 6 very easy miles to show. Re-opens a whole new circular train of thought on timing cut back weeks! |

2.58.32 in Seville this morning for my first sub 3. Proper chuffed. P&D is tough going but it works! |

Great result matty, did you manage to keep it evenly paced or was it hanging on at the end? P&d is a great plan to follow for sub 3! |
