Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Alan, thats great going. Wow 63 first lap...thats shifting! What time did the winner do? I've got a 1500m on the 27th, I've put down 4.30 as prediction and based on my form at the moment, hoping to maybe break 4.30 on the night if I can.

Cheers DD - Weeks couldnt have went any better racing wise.

Think I was 5th last. Nice big field and was suprised at the sub4's as it was the first first track event outdoors this year. I dont get hung up about places. It me against the clock, unless its a race that i have a chance of winning

Quite a few in the race then. Yeah same here, there really isnt any point, especially when you consider how high the standard often is at track races.

Whats your next race?

There is an open track meet on Wednesday. Running the 3000m at that, them depending on how I feel I might run the 400m later on then ive a 10km and 5km race before pacing the sub4 hour group at Belfast Marathon.

You got any races beofre your 1500 on the 27th?

You have a bust schedule ahead! What made you decide to pace the Berlin lot?

Not before that one, it will be my first race of the season. Just want to get some good training in before and build up to 3 track sessions a week.

Planning to do about 2-3 races a month after that.

I like racing alot, means harder workouts imo, Ive raced every week since the end of Feb.

I was going to race Belfast then they needed pacers so I signed up for that then entered Newry to give me an extra few weeks training and use it as a last lsr. But ive now changed to the HM at newry. That is my main focus now looking to get down to a 1.18.30 and then run Dublin Marathon.

Do you still enjoy all the hard sessons on the teack?
