Its gone a bit quiet in here, hope you are all doing well. :-)

I am back on the wagon this week after last weeks cold and snot, did a great 8.5 mile xc training run yesterday which felt really strong, its nice to be back.

I have made this a serious goal for 2013 so its going to be plenty of hard work for me now and easy on the mince pies ;-)

Way to go PP, I've let things slide last couple of months, too busy job hunting. Now that's sorted back to some serious running :)

Good luck all having a run over the weekend, I am on buggy duties this week and that involves tinsel, baubles and a santa suit.

I will be lucky to go sub 30!

Nice going Zobra, I was ill over Xmas also, dont think I will be down to 19.XX running for a while as I still feel a little rough.

Went for a run at lunch, stuggled to keep the pace at 7:39 minute miles over 4 miles, going to be a while before I am back. Rest assured I will be back :-)

Keep up the good work Zobra. :-)

Yeah , they say not to race for a couple of weeks after illness so you are right to be cautious ,Pedro

Anyone been racing this weekend?

I ran this morning, feeling better, not 100% but well enough to get back at it and start training again, took it a little cautiously as I didn't want to blow up, a steady 21:30 with one 6:33 mile, thought it wise to slow down when I saw that flash up on my Garmin.

Personally I need to get back into the low 20's and then chip away at 19 during the next few months, my training WAS going well before I got ill. :-(
