Mazlin
My dad (who is a retired maths teacher) has a home blood pressure monitor. He records the results on a spreadsheet and then takes the spreadsheet in to discuss with his GP, who I think is newly qualified and enthusiastic and probably didn’t know what he was letting himself in for by encouraging Dad to ‘keep a record’.

Anyway, I’m going to the gym for my ‘lunchtime’ session.

eL Bee! and I have a mutual patient who may be your dad, Mazlin. We take his spreadsheet with thanks and scan it into his medical records :)

:-) I did exactly the same when my GP asked me to keep a record a couple of months back!

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
Maybe think of it as choosing to take it instead MrsJ? Reading up about lifestyle changes I’m betting you are already physically active and have a decent diet!

Still on the yoga train, I’m trying to finish a PhD chapter, keep 2 houses running, 4 people fed and clothed and training enough for my autumn races and doing trampoline classes so everything else is kind of waiting in the wings right now :) When I have this chapter done I want to move my compost heap though (lots of work) and also get the decorating started...

Same here Mrs. Jigs.

ION... 4th daily half hour of Tidy-my-room has taken place. In the process I discovered five pairs of shoes I'd vaguely forgotten I have. Or at least forgotten whether they were buried here or in London. They were in boxes in bigger boxes (shoe boxes in Hunters welly boxes to be precise.)

I'm not sure whether I am insane or just a money wasting idiot.

1 pair of (possibly) worn once high jump spikes
1 pair of (probably) NEVER worn javelin spikes
1 pair of (possibly) worn once shot put/discus shoes (these don't have spikes they have very flat bottoms oo-er missis.)

Also an oldish but not worn out pair of MD spikes (the sort I use for winter training)
Plus another slightly worn pair of sprint spikes that I think might be no good...

It's the event specific shoes that make unsure whether - ahem - to laugh or cry. Both, I think.

Phd chapter sounds the most important thing to finish, Fleecy.

(I find living in two places unsettling and time consuming - although I'm sure I agonise over it much more than you do. Even though I've been doing it for upwards of ten years. HELP!)

Raemond
I accidentally made progress on project new job today - arranged to view a studio flat in Brussels on Monday afternoon.

Also on Monday I going to try out the train connection from the nearest Belgian station to see how terrible it would be if I did have to commute daily (about two hours each way, so presumably pretty terrible, but would save me several hundred euros in rent)
