If you wanted to learn all about sports nutrition (cos you screwed up in the past) where would you go? Books or course? I'm really keen to fix issues and now I am not training every hour god sends I have some time to fill! |

Don’t know enough to say. Would a nearby gym be able to point you in the right direction? What issues are you looking to fix? I had issues with fuelling for long runs but the gels I use (SiS ones) seem to have sorted that. |

Renee McGregor is EXCELLENT. Coincidentally I have just boxed up 6 portions of her Nepalese curry (I've adapted it slightly over the years). I was cooking when Beanie called round and said, 'That smells fabuous!'. It always does. |

Sushi.
I use High5 for long runs. I don't mind the taste too much and they send a prepaid envelope to post the empty wrappers back to recycle and reuse. Plus I get a 40%discount which isn't why I've stuck with them but is how I tried them in the first place. |

Depends on whether the gap is in your actual knowledge or your ability to apply that knowledge. I suspect you know loads about sports nutrition, in theory, but might find it helpful to be told what to eat.

Mix of stuff vrap I'm genuinely interested Have been wanting to learn more for years But also after bonking at the half and not being comfortable with bike nutrition I want to get better .... I'm ok on the run! I'd love to know more about training plans and food before and after training Which would also lead to day to day foods .... I think I know what I'm doing but I've gained weight with every marathon I've trained for! I didn't for outlaw but I was training tonnes more! |

How do you learn best, Pix? The information is out there, loads of it and in as much or as little detail as you need and in different formats, and you might well benefit more from getting your normal diet sorted out than from focusing on the relatively small part of your diet that is specific to before and after training. (Bike nutrition isn't all that complicated, it's more about being motivated and organised enough to eat enough of something than about the minutiae of substrate use.) |

But there is a cross over between training and life Example training in the morning I try not to eat if anything up-to 90 mins maybe more part of my head says less calories part says train body to run off fat But yes I would like to improve everything food related We didn’t do nutrition at school so all I know is self learnt via reading and weight watchers! |
