Happy New Year folks.

Hope all is okay next week L10 but glad you didn't have to wait too long.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.

Life has been a little on the manic side here what with working full time this last week and having my dad to stay (a story for another day) but hopefully running will resume next week although just seen the weather forecast and the cold and icy conditions are set to return. The new gym I have joined opens next week and I presume it will be busy to start with but hopefully I will get on some machines ;-)

HNY to you LG :-)

Another 5k for me this morning. I'm up to R60/W60 so avg pace is slowly but surely coming down :-) In a way I think the enforced break due to the chest infection has been a good thing. I think I'd got a bit comfortable with my ploddy pace, and now I'm doing R/W to get back into it, I feel like I'm pushing myself a little more on the run bits (knowing I have a walk break to look forward to!). I'm hoping that as the runs get longer and eventually join up, I'll be able to maintain the pace.

Excellent kwala :-)

SAP 5 miler is done and logged ~ 55:57 for the first time I've done a 5 mile trail and XC run :-) Still getting used to the X-Talons, it's quite nice to not go all unexpectedly slidey sidey :-) :-) :-o :-)

Good running everyone! :)

I'd planned to go for a longish one this morning but seem to have got a cold so that's scuppered me for a while now. :( Oh well, I've got some white stuff to look forward to now. :)

Fragile Do Not Bend
I ran (well ran/walked) for the first time in a month today, twice in one day!

First one was just over a mile on the dreadmill at the gym - I was there for a half hour class and felt I ought to do something else whilst I was there to be worth the trip. Second run was 3 miles outside. It’s good to be recovered enough to run again.
