I may have runned a bit too far too soon in my Innov8 trail shoes on Sunday. Oh my word, my ankles need some serious strength work! :-o . Not painful, not DOMS ~ just connective bits reminding me that distances and new stuff aren't generally good good things ;-) Today's 5 was a couple of minutes quicker than Sunday's ~ return to regular surfaces won over achey bits by a couple of bare minutes :-)

Looking forward to hear how LG gets on at her new gym - perhaps we'll have a regular DOMS report. :)

No running from me for a while now, I'm currently sat in the airport on my way to the snow. :)

Enjoy thr snow AR

I ran yesterday and need to update somewhere and pick a mile etc

Everything still hurts and so much discomfort in ankles and knees at night in bed, and shooting pains in foot. Really should get checked but scared of what they may say

Mandy Get it checked better safe than sorry as hopefully its a quickish fix. I know the hardway that ignoring it makes things worse.

Mm - the sooner checked, the sooner you can move forward ... do we need to borrow Sharktopus from the 700 thread's Pen? ;)

Ankles are far better this morn, so definitely too much too soon in a new thing and not injury :-)

1) Keep doing my leg exercises and add ankles to the plan
2) Cto5k/10k my way
3) Concentrate on 5k then 10k times
4) Try to get to +300 miles in a year (plus 1000 walking miles)
5) Arrive at the BH marathon start line fit and healthy, and have fun whilst covering the challenge

1) to start building some strength and flexibility work into my week
2) to get back in to walking every day for at least 30 mins
3) to shift some of the extra heft I've gained this year
